CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

The Customer Success Manager is a vital part of the team for Dronedesk’s Sales and Customer Success. This role leads the strategy and execution to ensure the successful adoption, maturity, business value realisation, and growth of our Customers, across Dronedesk’s customer base in the UK. This role focuses on driving customer acquisition across the entire UAV industry; from one-man-bands to large enterprise businesses. A key part of this role is engaging with our customers and establishing relationships with their decision-makers.

You'll understand the customer success managers' role, processes, and paths to success and help shape, refine and implement this. You'll also work with our customers to understand their business objectives and act as their trusted consultant and advisor in their use of Dronedesk, ensuring they realise business value. You'll gather customer feedback and requests while working with internal teams to help align customer adoption with our product roadmap. Additionally, you’ll work effectively and collaboratively with other managers and leaders across the broader sales and Dronedesk organisation to drive success for both customers and Dronedesk.

What you'll be doing:
  • Manage Customer Success
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop a team of customer success co-workers
  • Build a team that wins, has fun, and lives the Dronedesk values
  • Participate in developing a customer success strategy for the UK
  • Prioritise where we invest our resources and efforts with customers
  • Drive the team towards key performance metrics
  • Monitor and identify adoption, maturity, and growth trends for the team and customers to inform customer and business strategy
  • Manage the team to conduct periodic customer health-checks and review customer health scores with an emphasis on customers’ success with Dronedesk
  • Identify customer needs and collaborate with Accounts and other internal teams to ensure customer success with special emphasis on adoption, expansion, and renewals
  • Partner with Sales to engage in pre-sales activities for high-value opportunities
  • Contribute to the overall vision and strategy of Customer Success
  • Provide operational oversight of the business to deliver on targets and KPIs
What you should have:
  • 6+ years of customer success experience, preferably within a SaaS organisation
  • 2+ years of management experience, preferably within a SaaS organisation
  • Excellent communication skills both with customers and within an organisation
  • Strong track record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing long-term software solutions
  • Strong track record of defining and executing against key performance indicators
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with a team
  • Ability to challenge team members and willingness to be challenged to achieve team goals
  • Proactive interest to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships
  • Comfortable and willing to be a hands-on contributor

Dronedesk is looking for a Full Stack Developer to build features, design and implement API methods, and improve the performance and reliability of our systems as we rapidly scale our product and organisation.

What you'll be doing:
  • You'll brainstorm with the team to conceptualise and build new features for our large (and growing!) user base
  • You’ll produce high-quality results by contributing heavily to projects that have a significant impact on the business
  • You’ll actively own features or systems and define their long-term deveopment roadmap, while also maintaining and improving their realtime health
  • You'll assist our skilled support team and operations team in triaging and resolving production and operational issues
  • You'll deeply review code and implement test regimes to quickly surface and resolve flaws
  • You’ll strive to contimuously improve engineering standards and processes
What you should have:
  • You’ve been building web applications professionally for 2+ years
  • You have experience with functional or imperative programming languages e.g. PHP, Python, Ruby, Go, C, or Java
  • You can contribute to technical architecture discussions and help drive technical decisions within the business
  • You write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability
  • You're a great communicator. Explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers is no problem for you
  • You possess strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval
  • You have completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or you have equivalent training and work experience.
