- Salaries are taken from job adverts currently live on Adzuna that match each role's search terms, as of the refresh date above. They reflect advertised pay, not a survey of what people earn.
- Low, average, median and high are calculated from Adzuna's salary histogram, the distribution of advertised salaries across those live ads.
- "Ads sampled" counts adverts that carry a usable salary. Each role combines several job titles (drone / UAV / UAS / FPV pilot and so on), so an advert matching more than one is counted more than once. Read it as a volume indicator, not a unique count.
- The trend is a monthly snapshot: each month we record that month's figures, so the lines build up over time rather than looking back over historic postings.
- UK and US are shown in their own currency and are not directly comparable. Niche roles with few ads are flagged low and should be read with caution.
